The problem with the IDF mirrors the dilema of decadent capitalist societies - from their point of view why should our youth die to protect the greed of the rich? Histrory shows that nothing motivates like the fight for freedom.

On one occasion, I fell asleep on duty in the IDF near Jericho, too. We were pretty exhausted. No big deal. Unfortunately, my partner was a bad shooter, too. But in a real battle, it will not happen.

Come on now, who does stuff like that purely by accident? Not one soul on earth. This particular person would be, in some fashion, perceived as an outcast by the rest.
